Fair FICO credit is considered 580-669 on a scale of 300-850, with 850 as the best. VantageScore calls fair 650-699, with the same scale. But what does this mean? According to credit bureau Experian, the average VantageScore is 675; typically anything over 700 is considered good. With a fair score, you can get moderately acceptable lending products.
