Amazon Prime Day is just a few days away, and the retailer is already generating hype around the anticipated day of deals.

In addition to the savings Prime members will see July 15 and 16, 2019 (the official run-time for Prime Day), many Amazon users have been targeted with special offers leading up to the main event. Whether you are a foodie, avid reader or a fan of Amazon’s many products, there is likely a promotion you can take advantage of.

Get $10 to spend on Prime Day when you spend $10 at Whole Foods

This promotion is a win-win for Prime members who shop at Whole Foods, as you can earn $10 back to use on Prime Day when you spend at least $10 on a Whole Foods purchase between July 3 and July 16, 2019.

Eligibility: You must scan your Prime membership code when you make your qualifying Whole Foods purchase, either in-store or using Prime Now. Additionally, purchases such as alcohol and gift cards will not count toward the credit.

Get a $10 Amazon gift card for spending $50 in an Amazon store

If you live near a brick-and-mortar Amazon Books or Amazon 4-star store, you can earn a $10 Amazon gift card for spending at least $50 in-store between July 6 and July 16, 2019.

Eligibility: To earn the gift card, you must spend at least $50 on your transaction. You cannot make smaller transactions that add up to $50.

Unlock 20 percent savings on select Prime deals

Amazon offers a wide selection of unique augmented reality features in the Amazon shopping app – including the ability to view eligible products in your room. Between July 8 and July 14, 2019, Prime members who install the Amazon app and use the view in room, barcode scanner or camera product search functionalities will unlock an additional 20 percent off select Prime deals.

Eligibility: This offer is only valid between 6:00 a.m. and 11:59 a.m. PT each day, so you must take advantage of it in the morning. Additionally, you must use your discount on the day you receive it. That means you’ll only be able to take advantage of pre-Prime Day deals, since the offer ends July 14, 2019.

Get 20% off Amazon purchases when you use American Express Membership Rewards

Amazon is sending out targeted offers to eligible Membership Rewards cardholders, offering 20 percent off up to $250 in Amazon purchases – as long as you pay for part of that purchase with Membership Rewards. Qualifying shoppers can spend as little as one Membership Rewards point to unlock the deal and pay the rest in cash.

Eligibility: You must be targeted for this offer to take advantage of the deal, which expires July 16, 2019. Additionally, you are capped at $50 off qualifying purchases.

Get a $5 credit toward any print or Kindle book

Just for activating this targeted offer, Amazon will send users a $5 credit toward any print or Kindle e-book. You can spend this on any qualifying purchase through July 16, 2019 – meaning you can stack it with any matching Prime Day deals.

Eligibility: You must be targeted for this offer to take advantage of the deal. Check for an Amazon ad on social media or on the website. Credit cannot be applied to magazines or audiobooks.

Receive a $10 credit when you spend $100 through the Amazon Assistant desktop extension

When you purchase a product sold by Amazon (not a third-party) through the Amazon Assistant desktop extension on Prime Day (July 15 and July 16, 2019), you can get $10 back for spending $100 or more.

Eligibility: To take advantage of this deal, you must begin your purchase through Amazon Assistant. Then, apply the promo code GET10PD at checkout. Your $10 credit will expire 30 days after you receive it.

Amazon Prime Store cardholders can receive 6% cash back on Prime Day

If you are an Amazon Store cardholder and Prime member, you’ll earn an additional 1 percent cash back on Prime Day – for a total of 6 percent back on your purchases.

Eligibility: There is no need to enroll in this offer. The inflated rate begins midnight July 15, 2019 and continues through July 16, 2019.
