Discover, which introduced its first business credit card in June of 2006, is now offering small business owners a new product that provides generous frequent-flier mile rewards.

Compare Business Credit CardsWith its limited restrictions, the Discover Business Miles Card makes it simple for small business owners to earn airline miles.  Cardholders can earn double miles on up to $5,000 in gas and travel purchases.

Once they reach 5,000 Miles, small business owners can begin redeeming their travel credits.  As long as the credit card continues to be used, the miles earned with this Discover Card will never expire.

Additionally, Discover Business Miles Card points can be redeemed for gift cards from one of Discover’s 50 brand-name partners.

Credit card purchases accrue 0 percent interest for the first 12 months, followed by a standard APR of 13.24 percent.  The Discover Business Miles Card charges no annual fee.

Since not all merchants and suppliers accept payment by credit card, the Discover Business Miles Card provides cardholders with fee-free purchase checks.  These checks also allow small business owners to earn miles, while still enjoying the grace period and standard APR offered on regular credit card purchases.

But the Discover Business Miles Card offers more than just a way to earn rewards and make payments.  Cardholders will also find it easy to track their spending through access to quarterly and annual statements online.  Statements can be downloaded directly into QuickBooks for easy accounting.

Meanwhile, small business owners can request free additional Discover Business Miles Cards for their employees, with the ability to control spending and earn Miles on each credit card.

Should any problems arise, Discover offers that chance to speak with a dedicated Business Card Specialist who is trained to handle account needs.  Specialists answer phone calls in under a minute to provide help right away.
