Capital One is partnering up with Uber Eats to reward Venture and Savor cardholders for ordering in.
Some of the offers below are no longer available and may be out of date. The pandemic isn’t releasing its hold on the nation, and credit card issuers continue to come up with new limited-time offers to accommodate customers in this unprecedented time.
Capital One has been one of the most supportive issuers when it comes to such efforts. Previously, the issuer has allowed cardholders to redeem Venture miles for food delivery and streaming services. Back in June, Capital One also temporarily added cash back on streaming services to its Savor cards.
Further, the issuer announced that starting July 14, Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card holders will earn unlimited 5 miles per dollar and Capital One® Savor® Cash Rewards Credit Card* and Capital One SavorOne Cash Rewards Credit Card holders will earn unlimited 5% cash back on all orders with Uber Eats.
“Capital One is committed to offering our customers a variety of options for earning and redeeming rewards,” the issuer said in a statement. “We also understand that our customers’ day-to-day lives have changed, so we’re continually looking at providing value in new and different ways.”
The new offer will run through Jan. 31, 2021.
How to earn extra rewards with Uber Eats
If you’ve found yourself ordering from Uber Eats often and have an eligible Capital One card, you have a perfect opportunity to earn extra cash back or miles – and it’s really simple.
When placing an order with Uber Eats, make sure to choose your eligible Capital One Savor, SavorOne, Venture or VentureOne card as your payment method. Your rewards will be credited to your Capital One account within one to two billing cycles.
Note that if you pay for your order with a third-party payment account, such as PayPal, a mobile or wireless card reader or a digital wallet such as Apple Pay or Android Pay, your purchase won’t qualify for enhanced rewards.
Capital One cards still offer value amid coronavirus
The pandemic has had a significant impact on consumers’ finances, including their spending patterns and credit card usage. Some rewards cardholders might feel like their credit cards don’t provide the same value now that their spending has shifted, and travel has been mostly paused.
Capital One has come up with quite a few limited-time offers to ensure its customers can still get great value out of its cards. Here’s a snapshot of everything currently offered on some of Capital One’s most popular products.

Note that through Sept. 30, 2020, Venture and VentureOne cardholders also can redeem their miles for eligible restaurant delivery, takeout and streaming service purchases. Orders on Uber Eats are eligible for this limited-time redemption offer as well, meaning Venture cardholders can earn 5 miles on Uber Eats and then redeem their miles to offset the purchase.
