Foreign Transaction Fees Interview with KTAR Radio Phoenix
On Wednesday, April 1, 2015, CreditCards.com Senior Industry Analyst Matt Schulz spoke with Jeremy Foster of KTAR Radio Phoenix about the results of the April 2015 Foreign Transaction Fees survey. The interview and transcript are below.
Jeremy Foster: Credit cards are doing away with foreign transaction fees so if you’re headed out of the country in the near future, Matt Schulz with CreditCards.com tells KTAR do some research to know which cards won’t charge you for swiping their plastic.
Matt Schulz: There were four major issuers who don’t include this fee on any of their consumer credit cards and that’s Capital One, Pentagon Federal Credit Union, HSBC, and Discover.
Foster: He says foreign transaction fees range from 2-3% on top of your original purchase.
