Want a credit card that offers up to 21 months of 0% intro APR on purchases and qualifying balance transfers? The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card delivers. New cardholders who make on-time payments can extend the Wells Fargo Reflect’s 18-month intro APR to a full 21 months, giving you over a year and a half to finance new purchases and pay off old debt (followed by a variable APR of 15.24% to 27.24%).

Unfortunately, the rest of the Wells Fargo Reflect’s benefits are fairly limited – there’s no sign-up bonus, and cardholders can only earn rewards on purchases made through My Wells Fargo Deals. While you can save money by taking advantage of the intro APR and My Wells Fargo Deals, some people may get more out of a top cash back credit card or a travel credit card.

Ready to explore this card’s benefits? We’ve put together a guide explaining everything the Wells Fargo Reflect Card has to offer.

The Wells Fargo Reflect at a glance

The Wells Fargo Reflect Card is a no-annual-fee credit card that offers up to 21 months of a 0% intro APR on purchases and qualified balance transfers. Once your intro APR period ends, expect to pay 15.24% to 27.24% variable APR on purchases and balance transfers, based on your creditworthiness.

The Wells Fargo Reflect Card doesn’t offer rewards on every purchase, but cardholders can earn cash back in the form of statement credits when they shop through My Wells Fargo Deals. Cardholders can also take advantage of perks like cellphone protection insurance, 24/7 roadside dispatch and zero fraud liability on unauthorized charges.

Long intro APR offer

The Wells Fargo Reflect has one of the longest introductory APRs on the market, offering new cardholders up to 21 months of a 0% intro APR on purchases and qualifying balance transfers. All approved cardholders automatically receive a 0% intro APR for 18 months, and cardholders who make at least the minimum payment on time every month can receive an additional three months. (You must continue making on-time minimum payments during the intro and extension period to receive the full 21 months.)

If you’re looking for a credit card that can help you pay off old credit card debt, the Wells Fargo Reflect is one of the best balance transfer credit cards available. Further, it’s also one of the best 0% intro APR cards for those looking to fund a large purchase or carry a balance for nearly two years without accruing interest. Just make sure you pay off any outstanding balances before the 0% intro APR expires.

My Wells Fargo Deals

Most of today’s top rewards credit cards offer points, miles or cash back on every purchase. The Wells Fargo Reflect card gives cardholders a slightly different way of earning and redeeming rewards with My Wells Fargo Deals, a rewards portal that offers personalized deals on shopping, dining and experiences. Every time you shop through My Wells Fargo Deals, you earn cash back in the form of a statement credit. It’s a great way to enjoy new experiences, save money and earn rewards.

Additional perks

What other benefits come with your Wells Fargo Reflect Card? Cardholders can take advantage of three big perks, including cellphone protection, roadside dispatch and zero fraud liability.

When you pay your monthly cellphone bill with your Wells Fargo Reflect Card, you get access to up to $600 in cellphone insurance coverage (minus a $25 deductible). This supplemental insurance could help you out if your cellphone is ever stolen or damaged. Unfortunately, lost phones are not covered by this cellphone protection plan.

Wells Fargo also offers emergency roadside assistance, towing or locksmith services when you need them. However, this roadside dispatch program is not free – cardholders will pay a minimum of $69.95 per service – but it offers 24/7 protection to drivers in need.

Cardholders can also enjoy the peace of mind that comes with zero fraud liability. If there are fraudulent or unauthorized transactions on your Wells Fargo Reflect account, you won’t be responsible for paying off the charges – as long as you report the unauthorized transactions promptly.

How to maximize your Wells Fargo Reflect benefits

If you want to get the most out of your Wells Fargo Reflect Card, start by making every single payment on time – that way, you can extend your low-interest APR to the full 21 months. If you’re thinking about charging a major purchase to your credit card, such as a much-needed vacation or a long-overdue home improvement, use the lengthy 0% intro APR period to finance your purchase without paying interest. Of course, be sure you pay off as much of your balance as possible before the 0% intro APR period expires (then 15.24% to 27.24% variable APR).

You can also use your intro APR period to pay off old credit card debt. All qualifying balances transferred to your Wells Fargo Reflect card within the first 120 days of account opening will be charged an intro 3% balance transfer fee ($5 minimum). After 120 days, you’ll pay up to a 5% balance transfer fee ($5 minimum). Transfer your balances as quickly as possible to save money, then use the lengthy intro APR period to pay them off in full.

Don’t forget about making purchases through My Wells Fargo Deals. Not only will you get customized offers on shopping, dining and more, but you’ll also be able to earn cash back on every purchase you make through the rewards portal.

Bottom line

Want a credit card that offers nearly two years of zero interest? The Wells Fargo Reflect Card has one of the longest introductory APR periods available, giving cardholders the opportunity to pay off old debt or finance big purchases. While the introductory APR offer could save you a lot of money on interest charges, cardholders who want to take advantage of the up to 21-month 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers (15.24% to 27.24% variable APR after) will have to deal with the Wells Fargo Reflect card’s limited rewards and perks. So, make sure you know exactly what you’re signing up for before you apply.

And of course, before applying, be sure you know how to transfer a balance to a Wells Fargo card and that you have the appropriate credit score to qualify.
