Invasion of personal space tops the list of traveler habits that cause the most headaches, according to Capital One’s Rewards Barometer Survey.
It wasn’t even close. In the survey conducted of 1,000 adult rewards cardholders, 31 percent of people said invasion of personal space is the most annoying trait a traveler can have. The next closest were talking loudly, at 20 percent, and overly large carry-ons, at 19 percent.
The person with a life story to tell and the guy who is never ready for the security line also cause headaches — for each one, 15 percent of those polled said those were the most-irritating traits.
The Capital One Rewards Barometer Survey was conducted April 3-14, 2014, through an email invitation and an online survey.
