Is it a return to the bad old free-spending pre-recession days? Bankers think so. Bank risk managers were asked to predict what will happen over the next six months regarding consumers and credit. The January 2012 survey by the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association found nearly half the bankers surveyed expect consumers to ask for more credit — and be later paying back their loans.
