After enduring account closures, slashed credit limits, rejected applications and other bad treatment from credit card issuers in the throes of the recession, things got better in 2011, according to a Nobember 2011 survey from Consumer Reports. Fewer consumers said they were denied a card, fewer saw their limits cut and fewer said they we “treated unfairly in general.
