Student credit card

A student credit card is one aimed at young or first-time credit card owners. They tend to have higher rates, lower fees and lesser rewards. Due to the perception that banks were taking advantage of young consumers, the Credit CARD Act of 2009 restricted the availability of and marketing to youths 18-20. Compare top student credit cards.
