Citi Sound Vault

Citi, in partnership with Live Nation, has unveiled a live music platform, dubbed “Citi Sound Vault.” The new endeavor aims to provide Citi cardholers with access to exclusive music experiences throughout the U.S., including performances by major artists, meet and greets and backstage access.

“For nearly a decade, Citi has been providing our card members with incredible access to entertainment,” stated Jennifer Breithaupt, managing director of media, advertising and global entertainment for Citi. “Now, we’re excited to take it to the next level to bring card members true once-in-a-lifetime experiences with some of the world’s biggest artists.”

Customized for Citi card members

The timing and location of the first set of performances — scheduled to take place during Grammy Week at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles — add to the exclusivity of the concert series. In addition to giving access to a Hollywood event during a huge music week, the relatively small venue (which only holds 3,700 people) allows for an intimate experience.

“The driving force behind developing the concept was to put Citi card members at the epicenter of the most electrifying week in music and continue to build on that unparalleled fan access throughout the year and beyond,” explained Darin Wolf, executive vice president of Live Nation Media and Sponsorship.

The concerts, which include Grammy Award-winning and Grammy-nominated artists, take place Feb. 8-12, 2017. The lineup is as follows:

  • Sting, Feb. 8 and 9.
  • Beck, Feb. 10.
  • The Chainsmokers, Feb. 11.
  • Metallica, Feb. 12.

Tickets go on sale Jan. 31, 2017, at 10 a.m. Pacific. To purchase tickets, Citi cardholders can visit Citi Sound Vault.
