A handful of charity credit cards let cardholders support a particular charity. You no doubt have heard of the Susan G. Komen Cash Rewards Visa or the World Wildlife Fund credit card. When hurricanes hit in 2017, airlines and other card issuers made it easy to donate rewards to relief efforts.

One charity card, though, lets the cardholder choose up to three nonprofits to receive all of the 1 percent cash back earned with the Charity Charge World Mastercard® Credit Card.

Stephen Garten, CEO and founder of Charity Charge, says the average cardholder donated $272 to causes and charities in 2017.

Below are the 10 nonprofits that received the most donations from Charity Charge cardholders in 2017. Charity Charge lists on its website the top 20 nonprofits receiving recurring donations from cardholders and details about those charities and causes. The 2017 data was released in late January.
