TRANSCRIPT

Jason Middleton: Misery really does love company, apparently. Almost two-thirds of Americans, 62%, are losing sleep over at least financial problem. Now this is according to a report out this morning from CreditCards.com. The most common money worries are saving enough for retirement, that’s number one; paying educational expenses, that’s number two; and healthcare and insurance bills, that’s number three.

Matt Schulz: Worries about education costs are growing like crazy, and at this rate paying for school could soon be America’s biggest financial worry.

Middleton: That’s Matt Schulz, he’s Senior Analyst at CreditCards.com, and he’d rather light a candle than curse the darkness.

Schulz: People tend to lose sleep when things feel out of their control, and the best way to take more control is to do something. Even if it’s a small thing – cut back on some expenses, make a budget.
