CreditCards.com Senior Industry Analyst Matt Schulz spoke on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 with Jim Donovan of WSYR Radio Syracuse about the November 2015 Coupons & Credit Cards survey. The interview and transcript are below.

Jim Donovan: Central New Yorkers love their clipped out coupons, and still do, despite advancing technology. Matt Schulz with CreditCards.com says most of us still prefer the old fashioned approach to saving money at the check stand.

Matt Schulz: About two thirds of American credit card and debit card holders who use coupons say that they most frequently present coupons from newspapers or mailings.

Donovan: Schulz says even so-called Millennials, from 18 to 25 years of age, ones that seem to be wedded to their devices, still prefer the coupons from the newspaper and the mail.
