Elite status
Elite status – In frequent flier programs, a level of benefits reserved for customers who reach a certain mileage threshold within a specified time frame. There are often three levels of elite status, beginning at 25,000 miles flown in one year and moving up in 25,000 mile increments, with more benefits at each level. Privileges may include upgrades, access to airport lounges and preferred boarding and seating.
