Customer Support Department
Thank you for visiting the CreditCards.com Customer Support Department. Please review the
information outlined below, which provides answers to commonly asked questions.
Existing Credit
Card Accounts Questions regarding payments, disputes, billing, interest rates, lost/stolen cards,
suspected fraud or any other topic related to an existing credit card account should be directed
to the credit card issuer.
You can also reach your card issuer's customer service department by calling the toll free number
listed on the reverse side of your credit card.
Application Status
The issuer for
the card you selected determines whether a credit card application gets approved or denied.
Response time generally depends on the applicant's credit history. Banks are required to provide
written notification of both approvals and denials.
Once you are approved, delivery of the credit card may take several weeks. Contact the card issuer for more information.
Credit Card Terms and Conditions
To learn more about any credit card featured on this site, click on the card's "apply here" button.
This does not obligate you to apply, but simply redirects you to the card issuer's web site, where you
will find specific information on the card's terms and conditions.
Credit Quality and Bad Credit
Banks determine an individual's credit quality based on that applicant's credit score.
You should use your best judgment in determining your credit quality, based on your individual
credit history and credit score. You can get an estimate of your credit score by using the credit
score estimator on
the myFico.com website.
Consumers with bad credit still have options when it comes to applying for a card.
CreditCards.com features a number of products for individuals looking to establish, repair or rebuild
their credit at http://www.creditcards.com/bad-credit.php.
Credit Card Recommendations
As an objective source of information, we cannot provide individual credit card recommendations. Our goal
is to empower consumers in their decision-making process by providing information and tools, including a
credit card recommender that can help narrow credit
card choices.
