Infographic: Debt causes financial distress

On May 4, 2011, the National Foundation for Credit Counseling released the results of an online poll it had conducted on its website. While not scientific because the 1,400 participants were likely to be more worried about finances than the average person, it does indicate that people with debt woes suffer in more ways than one. Here's what the poll participants said:
