Choosing a casket

Caskets are one of the most expensive aspects of a funeral involving burial. At the low end are cloth covered wood caskets, running $500 to $1,300; a mid-range 18-gauge steel coffin goes from $1,500 to $4,300 and the high end, made of bronze or mahogany, up to $25,000.
