A haven for cybercriminals
A BBC report indicates that Brazil produces more cybercriminals that any other nation in the world -- by a substantial margin. According to the BBC, "This is because for many years, the Brazilians operated a protectionist economic system, and therefore developed its own highly skilled IT workforce." Also, 30 million Brazilians are regular Internet users and "three-fourths of them do the bulk of their financial transactions online."
