Citi, AT&T extend credit card relationship

Citi and AT&T have inked a long-term agreement that extends a credit card relationship the two companies began in 1998. They announced that AT&T will continue to license its brand to Citi for general purpose consumer credit cards.
With their latest contract, Citi and AT&T continue to offer the AT&T Universal Savings Platinum Card and AT&T Universal Savings & Rewards Card, in addition to also providing cardholders with ongoing calling benefits, loyalty programs, and cellphone insurance.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The AT&T Universal Savings Platinum Card has many of the features consumers expect from a great credit card, including a 0 percent introductory rate on balance transfers, no annual fee and zero liability on unauthorized purchases. Additionally, the AT&T Universal Savings Platinum Card is a credit card that doubles as a calling card, with up to 10 percent savings for the first 12 months on AT&T purchases and up to 30 free phone minutes per month.
Meanwhile, the AT&T Universal Savings & Rewards Card offers cardholders the chance to earn five ThankYou Points for each dollar spent on eligible AT&T purchases, plus one ThankYou Point for each dollar spent on all other purchases. Points can be redeemed for great travel, merchandise, gift cards, and other rewards through the ThankYou Redemptions Network. Furthermore, the AT&T Universal Savings & Rewards Card provides savings on everyday phone services, with up to 10 percent savings for the first 12 months on AT&T purchases and up to 30 free phone minutes per month.
